Dr Mark ESLER
Consultant Anaesthetist
Dr Mark Esler qualified from University of Cambridge and The Royal London Hospital in 1993. He trained in anaesthesia in London, and completed his clinical and research fellowship in Vancouver, Canada. He returned to London and has been a consultant with a special interest in obstetric anaesthesia and anaesthesia for gynaecology and gynae-oncology since 2003. He works at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and in addition works privately at numerous hospitals in London.
He regularly delivers lectures to consultants on obstetric anaesthesia (through the Obstetric Anaesthetists’ Association).
His ‘spare’ time is spent with his young family whom he hopes to teach to play golf…eventually.
